Greenfield Highlands Development
Greenfield, Wisconsin

Greenfield Highlands is an exciting new development just southwest of Milwaukee in the City of Greenfield. Located at the intersection of S. 108th Street and W. Cold Spring Road, Greenfield Highlands is ideally suited for both residential and business uses.

The site had historically remained undeveloped because of its many challenges. But Ener-Con Company, Inc., along with The Sigma Group, recognized the Highland’s tremendous potential as a mixed-use development. Sigma overcame myriad site design challenges like wide easements for high-tension power lines, wetlands, steep slopes, NIMBY and a stringent WDNR regulatory process to create a “smart growth,” pedestrian-friendly development.

The Sigma Group worked with the City of Greenfield and partners to procure TIF project approval. The $11.5 million TIF was necessary to assist with challenges that would have otherwise prevented site development.

Greenfield Highlands consists of single-family homes and condominiums, as well as commercial space along the retail corridor of Hwy 100. A large one-acre park, playground and bike trail compliment the site’s community-focused design. Other amenities like a pool and neighborhood clubhouse make this development one of Greenfield’s finest.
