Journal Communications - Milwaukee, Wisconsin Like so many others, Journal Communications Inc. realizes that a sound, systematic approach to Emergency, Health, and Safety (EHS) management makes good business sense. Sigma has provided assistance to over a dozen Journal Communication facilities/business groups with reviewing and evaluating the EHS programs, providing recommendations for program improvement, and developing EHS management tools. Sigma developed compliance and procedures manuals for each facility summarizing the EHS program requirements. Specific activities were then detailed on an EHS calendar for each site to identify each compliance requirement and associated timeframes/deadlines. These tools will now be utilized by JCI to populate a web-based EHS tracking system. |
