Miller Park Southeast Wisconsin Professional Baseball Park District The Miller Park facility is a 1.2 million square foot, 43,000-seat baseball and entertainment facility on a 265-acre site anchoring the west end of the Menomonee Valley in Milwaukee. Stadium features include a fan shaped retractable roof, 30,000 square feet of office space, 2,000 square feet of retail space,15,000 square feet of restaurant and banquet facilities, and Helfaer Field, a youth baseball facility.

Services provided to the SEWPBPD by Sigma include:

Owner’s Representation Served SEWPBPD as owner’s representative during design and construction of the stadium and infrastructure. Responsible for overall schedule monitoring, agency and public relations, review of construction documents to meet intended scope, progress reporting, annual budgeting, cash flow projecting, and project commissioning coordination.

Environmental Site Assessment/Remediation Investigated soil and groundwater conditions to secure exemption from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to construct on a landfill. Developed methane control involving source removal in conjunction with perimeter barrier and passive venting.

Environmental Compliance Developed compliance calendar and program matrix for specific elements including wastewater, underground storage tank, hazardous waste and SARA annual reporting. Directed storm water permit implementation of best management practices for stadium activities, public awareness and employee training.

Demolition & Abatement Oversaw the demolition of County Stadium involving the assessment of hazardous materials to be managed in the process, liquidation of assets, vacating, and decontaminating the building. Developed bid documents for demolition involving utility termination and relocation, recycling of materials, limits of foundation removal, and coordination with the Miller Park construction.

Facility Management Conducts facility maintenance monitoring assessment to ensure building and grounds are properly maintained and that the life expectancy of assets is attained.
