LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings.
Sigma’s core business philosophy is to create sustainable designs and implement sustainable practices for our clients. LEED® formalizes the process in certain instances.
Sigma recognizes the importance of proper engineering, energy efficiency, and efficient work space: our corporate headquarters constructed on a Brownfield site in 2003 exemplifies both the challenges and solutions to redevelopment on contaminated property and construction of an efficient building, thoughtful of the environment and long-term operation & maintenance cost savings.
We have LEED® accredited personnel, and individuals with specialized training in environmental remediation, storm water management, erosion control, building systems, commissioning, and more.
